Miss Barbara won debut Doncaster 1963 and followed up at Catterick. She won at Epsom and Stockton at three and Thirsk and Hamilton at Four. However, Miss Barbara's major contribution to the stable came in the paddocks. She was the dam of the 1976 champion sprinter Lochnager, the best horse ever trained here at New House Farm.
