Yorkstone brought up the half century of winners for the year as he shared the spoils at Southwell this afternoon under Joanna Mason.
In an exciting finish he dead-heated with Tom Eaves on Soames Forsyte to record the 47th flat winner of 2023.
In the colours of the Mick & David Easterby Racing Club Yorkstone has now won three times in 2023 after losing his maiden tag at Doncaster back in April.
"He jumped well, tracked the pace, travelled strongly and quickened when I asked him to," said Joanna after the race. "We were all waiting on tenterhooks at the end for the result".

"I think we should stick to the flat now so I can ride him!" said Joanna, referring to his previous run when he was pulled up over hurdles.
