Reach has been handed an entry in the John Smith's Cup at York on 13th July. A four-times winner from just 11 starts, she already has a victory on the Knavesmire to her name. A total of 79 horses were entered for the contest which boasts prizemoney of over £100,000 and her participation will be dependent upon horses above her in the handicap not being declared. Reach was purchased from the December Mares Sale at Newmarket in 2021 after being deemed surplus to Godolphin's requirements and she's paid back her purchase price many times over. She is the pride and joy of owner Maxwell Morrison and is a mare who gives everything each time she runs. |
