Alpha Magic, the latest offspring of broodmare Piece Of Magic, has been handed his first race entry. The two-year-old son of Ardad is the latest of a long line from the Alflora broodmare and he hold an entry in the 'British EBF Restricted Novice Stakes' at Thirsk on Wednesday. Alpha Magic is a half-brother to ten-time winner Where's Jeff, who this year passed the £100,000 prizemoney landmark. He will also run in the same red and white silks of owner Andrew Pollock, who would love to find another star racehorse like Jeff. Dam Piece Of Magic is currently with her three month old Wells Farhh Go colt, but he will be her last as she will be retiring from our broodmare roster and later this year will leave the yard for Bakewell in Derbyshire to join her old friend Kalariya. We hope there are still a few winners still to come from her family line! |
