The Grey Lass and Sondad in Southwell double

It's been along time between drinks but The Grey Lass got her head in front again at Southwell this afternoon.

Joanna Mason was the jockey in charge as the daughter of Outstrip won the 'Download The Raceday Ready App Handicap' over five furlongs.

The Grey Lass hit the front a furlong out and stayed on well to record her second win in 31 starts for the Lee Westwood Syndicate.

Sondad made it a double when he followed up his Ripon victory by taking the 'Tips For Every Race At raceday-ready.com Handicap' on his all weather debut. Returned at odds of 5/2 he came home half a length in front of the well backed favourite Sanat.

The victory also brought up a double for Joanna who needs just three more victories for the stable to reach the 100 winners mark for grandad Mick Easterby.
