Rehome update: Cassanos Lad (AKA Elvis)

We were delighted to receive these photos of our old friend Cassanos Lad. He's been wearing his poppy rug with pride throughout November. Cassanos Lad was rehomed earlier this year after racing ten times. He didn't have the speed to win a race and he wasn't enjoying his time on the track so we made him available through our rehome scheme.

Now known as Elvis he is owned by Poppy and has been having time off before coming into work ready for next year.

"He's settled in amazingly, he's a right character! He's enjoyed his time off and he has started to be lunged this week," says Poppy. "We 100% want to do RoR! And just generally have a fun time beach rides and pleasure rides."

Elvis has a new best friend and he spends his time out in the field with ex-racehorse Sid (who raced as Grove Silver) and also a flock of sheep. He has a very happy life with lots of fun in store.

If you have a former Mick & David Easterby trained racehorse then please do drop us a line and let us know what they're doing and we'll feature them on our website.
