Brooklynese for rules debut at Doncaster

After two runs in point-to-points six-year-old mare Brooklynese will take her chance under rules in the 'Livescore Bet Open Maiden National Hunt Flat Race' at Doncaster on Friday.

Seven horses have been declared for the race, with Noble George offering the pick of the form having been runner up in both of his outings to date. Of the remainder, Dartmouth Castle hails from a top yard and is a Dartmouth son of five time winning mare Toboggan's Fire.

Bred by owner Jim Brown the daughter of Scorpion was runner up on her point-to-point debut at Alnwick before finishing fifth at Duncombe Park.

Jim Brown has had plenty of success with horses at the yard, with winners including Pardon Me and Steel City, and Brooklynese has plenty of credentials on pedigree, being a daughter of his four time winner Miss Sassypants.
