Stanage, a winner on his seasonal debut at Doncaster at the weekend, may head to Newmarket next month.
The four-year-old has been entered in the early-closing 'Betfred Handicap', one of the series of Heritage Handicaps, over six furlongs on the 3rd May. The race is run on the Saturday, the same day as the 2000 Guineas which is the first classic of the season.
