We send Acrisius and Knicks to Haydock Park's late afternoon meeting on Sunday where there's good prizemoney on offer. Our two runners will go head to head in the Sky Bet Extra Places Handicap at 5.15 over the minimum five furlong trip.
An easy winner at Chester last time, Acrisius was raised seven pounds in the ratings for his efforts. The homebred son of Ardad will this time be ridden by Billy Garritty who has been in fine form this year and has ridden 13 winners for the stable.
Knicks ran a fine race last time out, also at Chester, going down by a head. He's also in fine form and will be ridden by Connor Beasley. Knicks was raised two pounds for his Chester defeat but is still a pound below his previous winning mark of 73 when successful at the Roodee last year.
