Keats House has been a revelation this season with wins at Beverley and Musselburgh and he bids for his third victory of the year in the first division of the Graeme Allan's 70th Birthday Pension Scheme Handicap at Ayr on Friday. The three-year-old son of Earthlight will be ridden by Joanna Mason, who has been the jockey in the plate for both victories and he'll attempt to defy a six pound penalty in the one mile contest.

The horse to beat looks to be Atmosphere. He was doing his best work late on at Sandown when finishing well to take third place. He's only a pound higher than when winning at Thirsk in July and can be competitive again here. At a bigger price Little Ted ran well over seven furlongs here when runner up on Thursday and the extra furlong will be to his benefit if turning out again. The eight-year-old is a consistent sort and remains in good heart.

There's all weather action at Newcastle where Yaajooz will run in our own colours in the ARC All-Weather £1Million Bonus Returns Handicap. Yaajooz has been placed in four of his six outings this year and Billy Garritty will be the jockey tasked with getting his head in front. Bought out of George Boughey's yard out of a seller at Thirsk last year the son of Ten Sovereigns is a consistent sort and deserves a win. It's a competitive contest and Richard Fahey's Flying Fletcher is the likely race favourite, having been denied daylight in an unlucky passage last time at Newcastle.
