Rehoming

Lights, camera, canter!

Back in 2020, we rehomed a racehorse named Abwab — and what a journey it's been!

Abwab joined us from Sir Michael Stoute in 2019 and raced four times on the flat and three times over hurdles. As a racehorse he had limited ability and was retired after finishing tenth of eleven at Redcar. His racing career over we made him available for rehoming.

Jodie Harvey-Jones saw his huge potential and after offering a new home off the track she has never looked back.

Since leaving racing Abwab has been busy charming hearts and cameras alike. First up, he proudly represented Retraining of Racehorses on H&C's Every Horse Can Dance series, showcasing the grace and versatility of ex-racehorses. Then, in a thrilling twist, he became one of just seven contestants on the upcoming reality competition The All Stars Academy.

While we can't spill the details just yet (no spoilers!), let's just say he shone like the superstar he is.

As if that weren't enough, Abwab was invited by Great British Racing to the ROR Championships, where he strutted his stuff in the Gemma Potts Glamor Stakes showing class—and placed an impressive second!

From the track to the spotlight, Abwab continues to inspire with his heart, talent, and unmistakable sparkle.

The best boy, indeed.
