We head to Southwell on Thursday with two runners as Lamlash Bay and Ganthorpe tackle the six furlong Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM EBF Novice Stakes. Ganthorpe, a half-brother to winners Copper Mountain and Acrisius, is having his third racecourse outing and carries first time blinkers. It's the second time on the track for Lamlash Bay who will be ridden by Billy Garritty and represents the 50 Club.

The standard is set by the 83-rated Baker Blue who put in some decent efforts for Jessica Harrington before being sold for 31,000 guineas at Tattersalls in October after finishing second at Down Royal. However, the most interesting horse in the race is Firewalker who makes his debut for Amo Racing. Firewalker is a Kingman half-brother to Group 2 winner Symbol Of Honour and Group 1 placed Dragon Symbol and cost 360,000 guineas as a foal and holds every chance of making a winning debut here.

Sharp Call - who was due to run in the amateur riders' race - is a non-runner.
