We head to West Yorkshire today where we send out three runners who have all shown promising starts their hurdling careers.

Two Brothers and Sovereignlightcafe both finished third in their respective races when making their debuts over timber and they'll look to build on that experience as they go head to head in the William Hill Keep Your Raceday Positive Novices' Hurdle at Wetherby. Two Brothers will wear a first time tongue tie to help him breathe but again we leave off the visor that he carried on the flat. He boasts the stronger form of our pair to date.

Alsaksib looks the horse to beat in the race, having changed hands for 100,000 guineas at Tattersalls in October. A very smart recruit from the flat, he was a Group 3 winner at York last year and was last seen in the Group 1 Qatar Prix du Cadran at Longchamp. Alsakib was rated 111 on the flat at his peak and if he takes to hurdling he has the potential to be high class.

We think Two Brothers will go well and we know he acts on the ground but he will need to produce a career best if he is to beat the favourite.

Sovereignlightcafe

Lights Go Down was given a BHA rating of 104 after two placed efforts over hurdles and he tackles the William Hill Each Way Extra Daily Juvenile Hurdle and will be ridden by Jamie Hamilton. The task is made easier with the absence of Dan Skelton's Square d'Alboni who had been rated 108 on the flat.

Indian River is now the horse everyone has to beat having made a winning start over hurdles at Catterick where the front pair were 28 lengths clear of the third. The runner up that day fell at Fontwell in his next race earlier this the month, having been sent off at odds on, so the form is yet to be franked. A recruit from flat racing in Ireland he has Brian Hughes up again but this time must defy a seven pound penalty.
