Jamie Hamilton takes the ride again as Rose's Dart heads to Hexham on Monday in a quest to back up last month's maiden victory.

Eight runners line up for the two mile Horslyx-For Horse's Health & Welfare Mares' Handicap Hurdle where the 105-rated Dee's Getaway, the other last time out winner in the field, takes top weight. Gintime, trained by Nicky Richards, might be the pick of the opposition. She was beaten under eight lengths when fifth at Kelso last time and now drops two classes.

Rose's Dart has one win and two places to her name from eight starts and got off the mark last time by beating Natus Vincere by a length and a quarter at Market Rasen. A combination of good to soft ground, the application of a first-time tongue strap and a 47-day break all came together to revive her fortunes and we'll be hoping for another big run in Northumberland on Monday.

Bred by owners Gay and Peter Hartley, five-year-old Rose's Dart is out of nine time winner Pepite Rose, who was a Listed winner and also placed in the Grade 2 Peterborough Chase in 2015. She's the second winning offspring from the mare, joining dual scorer Thank You Ma'am who was rated 128 at his peak.
