We stay in Yorkshire on Friday with runners at Doncaster and Beverley.

Carlton and Co has her third outing of the season and will run for the first time in the colours of Stittenham Racing. A five time winner, she was disappointing last time when tailed off behind Belsito at Hamilton Park. Billy Garritty reported that she was never travelling well and post-race examination showed nothing was amiss. She will run in the Follow @attheraces On X Handicap where Joanna Mason rides. Joanna has yet to win aboard the daughter of Havana Gold and is still three pounds above her latest winning mark. Carlton And Co had a successful year in 2025 with three victories and will be aiming to rediscover her winning form.

Gunalt Wavelength has been in fine form this season, and she'll bid for a hat-trick in the attheraces.com/marketmovers Fillies' Handicap over the same course and distance as her previous success in June. The daughter of Make Believe has improved significantly as a three-year-old and lost her maiden tag at Ripon in May. Twelve horses go to post with top-weight Bami looking the danger after winning at Newbury, but there's a six pound penalty to defy which actually exceeds the raise in the weights earlier this week so she's not obviously well in.
We run Catton Lady at Beverley in the Westwood Selling Stakes where just four horses go to post. The race conditions mean that our runners meets two horses in disadvantageous terms. Midnight Strike is rated 82 and gives just a pound to Catton Lady despite being rated 17 pounds higher. The top rated horse is Nepal who has his first run after wind surgery. He was a winner at Bahrain in January and with a rating of 88 is 23 pounds ahead of Catton Lady, but will only concede nine pounds.
