Stanage is back in action on Thursday as we head to Town Moor.

Joanna Mason takes the ride as the son of Kingman aims to get his head in front and put an end to a losing run that stretches back to March 2024.

Stanage's last win came over course and distance at Doncaster's first meeting of the 2024 season and he's now eleven pounds below the mark from which he won.

Stanage returned from an 89 day break last month, finishing twelfth of fourteen runners on the all weather at Newcastle and we hope a return to Doncaster will spark a revival.
Top Lad


Also in action on Thursday is Top Lad who runs in the Dalston 'Confined' Handicap, a race for horses which have not won in 2026. Top Lad has been placed twice from six starts but was disappointing last time at Beverley when a well beaten last of ten behind Lyrical Song at Beverley, and he's on a recovery mission today.
