There's afternoon racing at Nottingham, on Friday and we send Ganthorpe for the PKF Wish Race Classified Stakes where he will bid for his second win of the season. Successful at Carlisle in May for Lewis Chalkley he's been disappointing in his last two starts and this time steps back to five furlongs. Joanna Mason takes over and will bid to help the three-year-old regain the winning formula in the colours of Mark Hickling.

The horses meet each other on level terms in a classified race, as opposed to a handicap, and our horse gets a useful four pound allowance as a three-year-old. Washington Heir looks the danger, and has an advantage at the weights given his official rating of 50.
Resdev Time will also face classified company at Pontefract in the Babs Woolford Memorial Apprentice Classified Stakes. She will be ridden by Lewis Chalkley and gets the benefit of a huge 11 pound weight for age allowance from the older horses. The daughter of Time Test will be seeking her maiden win having raced eleven times without getting her head in front. She retains the cheekpieces carried last time out and sticks to the mile and a half trip.
