Von Trotter, the three-year-old son of former stable winner Bankawi, recorded his second win of the year as he took the Logic's 40th Anniversary Handicap at Carlisle.
Runner up on his first three starts last year, Von Trotter has thrived this season, having lost his maiden tag at Doncaster in August.
Von Trotter had the rest of the field in trouble a long way out and he powered clear to record a very easy victory for Billy Garritty.
Von Trotter is from a line of home-bred winners. His dam Bankawi was also bred at New House Farm and she recorded four wins before retiring to the paddocks. Out in the fields we have Von Trotter's full brother, and we hope he's as good as his sibling.
