Parthena Rose Sudlow will have her first ride as an amateur jockey at Redcar on Wednesday.

A work rider at the yard for several years, Parthena gained her amateur jockey's licence in August and and will ride Ganthorpe in the AJA Novice Amateur Jockeys' Handicap, a race restricted to riders who had ridden no more then three winners at the start of the 2026 season.
