So Grateful is a home bred half-brother to winners Bowson Fred, Towbee and Black Annis Bower. He has won six times, and acts on the all weather and turf making him the perfect fun horse.

He is known to his friends as 'Damien', after the child from the horror film 'The Omen'. This is because when he was a foal he had a crescent-shaped star. However, this has become less distinct as he has grown and now only a few white hairs remain.
