Retirement beckons as Lindwall leaves for the final time

We had a remarkable response when we made Lindwall (known to his friends as Tom) available for rehoming. Tom joined us from Tom Lacey's yard in 2024. He'd previously won three times on the all weather for Sir Mark Prescott.

Tom immediately became a stable favourite due to his lovely character. In addition to racing eleven times he was also used as a lead horse for the youngsters on the gallops. A very easy horse to ride he's helped to give young riders confidence in the saddle.

Tom raced in the ownership of Serena Brotherton and later on Joanna Mason's Keep It In The Family Partnership but he didn't manage to win.

Tom was retired from racing in January 2025 at which point we decided to make him available for rehoming. We received a remarkable response with just short of 50 prospective homes offered.

A sound horse, Tom passed a five stage vetting on Thursday and with the paperwork signed he left the yard for the last time on Sunday 26th January.

Thank you for all the fun you've given us Tom, we all know that you will enjoy your life after racing.
