On Sabbatical is spectacularly bred. He is by Classic winning sire Awtaad who won the Irish 2000 Guineas in 2016. His dam Butoolat is a half-sister to Mostahdaf who won the Prince of Wales Stakes at Ascot and the Juddmonte International at York in 2023.

On Sabbatical retired from racing because he didn't have the pace to be a winner on the track but this lovely lad is certainly a winner away from the racecourse.

On Sabbatical is now known as Sebastian, and he's owned by Lucy.

"I have owned this most amazing boy for just over 7 weeks and I can’t imagine a life without him," says Lucy. "He really is the most beautiful soul and has definitely been in this world before. A bold lad who tries his heart out and gives the best of cuddles."
