Plenty of horses out on the gallops as we prepare for the back end of the flat season.

We're giving some of next week's York runners a spin and there are also plenty of older horses in action as we look ahead to Ayr's Western Meeting at the end of September.

Endless Whisper

Endless Whisper ridden by Kishan. She was a purchase from the Tattersalls Mares Sale last December and she's been going nicely. She is a very well bred daughter of Teofilo and was bought unraced from Godolphin.

Doctor Vuby

Doctor Vuby being lunged in the pit by Michael. He runs at Catterick on Monday and holds entries at Ayr in September.

Casilli

Casilli had a canter up the hill ridden by Joanna Mason. She runs at Pontefract on Sunday and returns to the course and distance over which she was runner up last time out. She has dropped in the ratings and is weighted to win.

Canon's House

Canon's House was third on his debut at odds of 18/1 and he showed it was no fluke by running a huge race next time. He runs at Southwell on Sunday and also has entries at Ayr in September. He will be given a handicap mark after his next run, but that won't be published until a week on Tuesday.

Beauty Choice

Beauty Choice had a break after a busy start to the season but he's now back in work. He's already posted two wins in 2024 and he's ultra-consistent. Joanna Mason was his rider on the gallops on Friday.

Yorkshire Lady

Yorkshire Lady has entries at York and Hamilton on Friday. She ran a good race last time when third at Ayr on her return and she'll come on for that run. She won over hurdles at Wetherby earlier this year but she'll concentrate on the flat for the time being.

Yorkshire Myth

Yorkshire Myth is almost ready for his debut. He's owned by the 100 Club who have been represented by Scatter Penny so far in 2024.

Le Beau Garcon

Le Beau Garcon came back form a wind operation with a bang and won at Thirsk in June. He's one of the quickest horses in the yard and he's effective on fast ground. He wants it to be as hard as concrete to show his true ability. He'll continue at the minimum distance and he is in good order right now.

Two Brothers

Two Brothers has an entry in the Racing League on Thursday at Newcastle and also in the Lanark Silver Bell on Friday at Hamilton Park. There's over £50,000 up for grabs for the winner at Hamilton. Two Brothers didn't run his race in this event in 2023 but he then won at York next time out. We'll look at the races and decide on Tuesday where he'll go.

Zous Juice and Sovereignlightcafe

Zous Juice is a three-year-old we like. He's seen here ridden by Kishan alongside Sovereignlightcafe ridden by Philip Lawrence.

Mister Camacho

Mister Camacho is on the comeback trail. A soft ground winner last year at Catterick he's had a few setbacks but he's in work now and he'll hack a back end campaign. He needs soft ground, the softer the better, so there's no point in running until the rains come.

Ring Of Gold

Ring of Gold is back in work after a break. It's a while since he won but he's often placed and pays the price for his consistency with the handicapper reluctant to drop him. Placed in 14 of his 38 starts he's yet to win on turf although he has been placed on soft ground at Doncaster.

Nippasso

Nippasso was recently named and is the first horse we've trained by the ill-fated sire Sogann. She's out of winning point-to-pointer Chip N Pin and may well need a fair trip in time. Alessha is riding her here.

Scatter Penny and Lever Up

Scatter Penny is seen here working with Lever Up. Scatter Penny has won two from two and heads to York where she has two options. We'll decide on her target on Monday. Lever Up runs in the Convivial Maiden Stakes, a hot £100,000 contest.

The Grey Lass

The Grey Lass won earlier this year at Southwell and put behind her a long losing run. A diminutive sprinter, she got a hefty six pound rise for her efforts for which she paid the price next time out. She is very much at home on the all weather and we may return to Southwell.

Glorious Kitty

Glorious Kitty ran well on her debut at York in the Marygate Stakes when finishing fourth, but disappointed when upped to six back at York last month. She's seen here ridden by Neil and she's a filly we like.

Spirit Of Acklam

Last but not least, Maxwell Morrison's two stars. Spirit Of Acklam is back in work and we need the rains to come, so a late summer and autumn campaign is in mind. Reach is going nicely and she runs at York on Friday where she'll try to defend the race she won last year. She's approaching the £100,000 prizemoney mark which is astounding for a bargain buy unraced from the Tattersalls Mares Sale.
